Article draft getting drafty


 

For weeks I have now been writing and rewriting the article for my ongoing curatorial project. Over time, the piece had become unexpectedly theoretical and conceptual at the expense of the core absurdist element. Today, suddenly, as I worked on the concluding section, a slight change in a single paragraph unexpectedly returned the absurdism from the grave. Now it is haunting me. As the submission deadline is upon me, the question has become: how can one tell such an extended joke that is so dead serious?
